MICHIGAN
Job Purpose
Application design/analysis, developing project plans, coding, testing, documenting all code, and maintaining and upgrading existing applications.
Code, debug and test application programs utilizing Java: J2EE Architecture, Java Servlets, Java Server Pages, Enterprise Java Beans, Java Beans, JDBC and/or SQL) in an Windows 95/NT environment.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and/or education;
- Successful completion of an analytical aptitude exam;
- Five plus years experience in programming;
- Five years experience in JAVA
- Three + years relational database experience;
- Strong written and oral communication skills;
- Demonstrated track record of successful system and project implementations.
CONNECTICUT
Responsibilities:
- Will be a part of Architecture and Infrastructure team.
- Full system life cycle development of large J2EE application.
- Participating in system and components architecture and design.
- Address performance issues in an effort to ensure that all applications are highly scalable, available and can support high volumes of data.
- Anticipate and resolve technical problems and solve difficult challenges with only occasional need for technical assistance from others.
Required qualifications include:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- High Finance Career experience
- Strong skills in OOP and design patterns.
- Expertise in Core Java, JDBC, multi-threading, JMS.
- Extensive server side Java EE development.
- In-depth familiarity with database applications and database design standards, entity-relationship model, database processing and normalization, ability to write complex query statements.
- Experience with application servers: Weblogic, JBoss (NetWeaver is big plus).
- Experience with databases: Oracle, MS SQL.
- Experience in developing large, scalable, high available Java/J2EE applications.
Other:
- Must be quick learner, self-motivated, able to work independently and deliver results within given time constraints.
- Excellent communication skills.
- 10 + years work related experience.
